this is a great feature to have in a jeep i dont use the uconnect that much and i like how my high beams come on automatic

You still need a microphone.. they sell cheap mics that can be attached around the headliner for $40.

My next question...

I know you need a lockpick to upgrade to the MYGIGs, but would I need one to upgrade to the non-MYGIG 08+ radios? If not, is it plug and play or do I need something different?
