I tried a factory reset and re-Paired my phone.

I still can't Call any Contacts through the Voice Recognition.

It keeps returning "Your Favorites List is Empty".

I made sure I had all 5 Favorites set and I can click them with my finger and it works fine.

I also made sure I have some Favorites Set on the Phone itself.

Also, why is it limited to just "Favorites" in the first place?

Every Voice Dial phone or car I've used should allow you to Voice search all your contacts.

I'm using an Sprint HTC One Android Phone running 4.2.1

I must be doing something stupid.

I do have a lot of contacts (All which show up fine on the display when I browse) but I do have several accounts (Exchange with Work (unsecured), Hotmail, Gmail etc.) Only my Exchange account contains contacts. So it might be confused there somewhere that it's looking in the Gmail account (when doing Voice Lookup) and not finding any.

Sorry, yes it's 13.28

I figured it out. Actually someone on XDA-Developers.com gave me the answer.

You have to hit the Phone (Green Button) not the "VR" button !!

Strange the way the Help said I could say "Call John Smith Mobile" when I hit the VR button, but does not work.

By the way the Sales Person didn't know why it didn't work for me either.

No favorites needed. In fact it works better with no Favorites because you end up with Duplicate Choices to choose from (Which I saw explained in another thread here).

Well I was right I was doing something stupid, I guess.

Since you have 13.28 installed it is a late build, what is being called 2014.5. You have fixes to many of the glitches other earlier builds suffer from. Plus your adaptive cruse control will work to a full stop. ACC/stop. Also your suspension can be set to lower when trans is put into park. There my also be other enhancements I do not know about. I love good surprises, don't you?

What makes your Overland a 2014.5?
