So when I put this pos in 4 wheel drive it clanks like crazy. So I just assumed it was my transfer case. So I swaped it out for a used one that was my buddies and I know it works for sure. ......It makes the same exact noise and when I turn its even louder.. what could this possibly be. Please help me out.

Most probably a drive shaft CV joint which is shot, the ones between the wheels and the diff.
