Can anyone tell me why I can't connect my I phone 5 with my 2011 overlander?

We will need more details to assist. Some or all the below information would be helpful.

1. Any error messages
2. Is your radio the 730N RHR or lesser model?
3. Steps you are performing to pair your phone.
4. Are you running beta version of IOS7 on your phone?
5. Radio firmware version.

BTW. I have a 2011 Overland with the 730N and iphone 5 working fine.

Hi Ed,

It's a RER if that's what you are looking for. No error messages at all. The option for the AUX doesn't appear. I used my I phone 4 had no issues but its seems like the 5 with the apple converter is just not working. iOS 7 yes.

Uh, I know that even Apple says that the adapter is not going to work with everything. As far as many of my clients are concerned, Apple has screwed a lot of their client base with the new connector.

OK, that helps. I am connecting through BT streaming, and i'm also running IOS6. I will try the connector tomorrow and see what I get. Also, since you are running the beta IOS 7 it is not ready for full release and could be the issue.

Yes, and completely true. IOS7 could in Beta could certainly be causing grief as well.
