I have a 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and am noticing an error showing within the instrument cluster display screen. It does not show the correct miles remaining when exit is coming up (see attached photo). The exit on this photo was 500 ft away :)
The dealership said that a "future possible third quarter radio update" would fix this.

Does anybody else have that issue when using the on-board navigation? I would like to know if this "radio update" reason is rubbish. If others have the same issue, then I'll feel better about it.

Thanks!

Is that Lockwood Valley in S. CA.? Did a lot of dirt biking there over the years.

I have the EXACT same issue. I posted about it here a couple of weeks ago...
Uconnect Navigation Issue 2020 Trailhawk

I called Unconnect and was told an “update” may be released in January of 2021, but there is no guarantee it will fix the issue. Dealership was unable to resolve it as well. I am at a dead-end with the problem.

Here is a picture of how mine. As you can see, the touchscreen is showing 1.1 miles to the next turn while the instrument cluster shows 281.6

Thanks for letting me know, good to hear I'm not the only one with that weird issue. Also, out of curiosity on another issue I have, are you able to change the outside temperature unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius? Here is a link to my post on that: Question: Does anybody know how to change temperature units from Fahrenheit to Celsius on 2020 GrandCherokee Trailhawk?

Thanks!

Was there ever a fix to this? My 2020 Trailhawk does the exact same thing.

No fix yet. I'm currently in communication with Jeep with a case number and have been playing phone tag right now. I will keep you posted of any update.
Out of curiosity and another issue, are you able to change the temperature units to Celsius in your Trailhawk? I do not have a "units" sub-menu within the settings.

Update as per Uconnect Agent: "These issues are expected to be resolved in the next software update which should be coming this summer"
We will see how this pans out.

FYI, The other fix for this was to replace the dash instrument cluster with a new one. The service manager at my dealership pulled one from a newer model of my Grand cherokee altitude. It fixed the problem. But when they went to order me one Jeep came back and said no. Wait for a software update they were working on. A jeep field manager heard about my issue and told my dealership that a memo went out that the software issue will be fixed beginning of the 4th qtr. This could have been fixed 3 months ago with a new cluster but Jeep did not want to pay the money for it.

Have the same problem on a 2020 Grand Cherokee Limited. The dealer was going to "attempt repairs", but received the attached Star Online Publication at the last minute. Hurry up and wait.

Now I'm told that in order to see if the update is available I need to keep bringing my truck to the dealership for them to hook up the computer. No one will tell the dealership if the software fix is actually out. Jeep really has their heads up their a$$. My dealership in not next door to me either.

I have the same problem with my 2020 Grand Cherokee. I noticed it on the first day I brought it home from the dealership. Dealer service was unable to remedy the problem. The second time it was in for service on this issue, they replaced the radio unit. Problem still persists. I have been told to wait for the software update. If this software update does not fix the problem, I am going to pursue getting a replacement vehicle under the Lemon Law.

I was told that the fix would be out the beginning of the 4th qtr. it was not out in October. I have nit been to the dealer since. Going to go this week. If it’s not fixed by the end of this year I’m going to do the same with the lemon law.

Thanks for the info. This should get resolved with the new update. Out of curiosity, are you able to change the Units within your settings? For example, changing temperature from Fahrenheit to Celcius degrees? I was told that the update would resolve that missing sub-menu item as well.
