I have a 2005 WK with the 5.7 HEMI. I was having probs with overheating so i changed my thermostat. Didn't resolve so changed water pump no resolve finally discovered it was the t-stat after all but what happened was after i changed it air was trapped in system. If faced with same problem open radiator cap after changing t-stat and let run till t-stat opens then refill with water. May fix problem and save yourself a couple hours and $$ over replacing a probably good water pump.
