My Hemi' s water hase failled today. After further investigation I found that the clip securing the pipe to the fan cover became brittle and broke. This cause the pipe to rub against the water pump pulley. I suggest that the pipe be secured by cable tie.
The worst part of all is there is not a spare pipe in South Africa. Seems like this a common problem. My car is 2 years old with 128000km so its is out of warranty.
