Ok folks, I have always admired the LR4 (but own a '14 Overland) and was wondering what specifically makes the JGC the tougher of the two trucks...for instance, who has the superior air suspension etc. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
That's a comparison almost worthy of Consumer Reports: comparing an air suspension LR against a street version GC, on roads you could traverse with a Miata.I think they're both nice, but i'm a little bit more biased towards the WK2. Anyway, here's a video sort of comparing the two.
I like 'em both, so am biased and even shopped the Rover against the GC but ended up with the GC.THIS:
"I would love to see a good full blown test with several of GCs competitors even with all the uncontrollable factors thrown in the mix and let's see who is the last man standing."
Its been said that Lucas sells replacement smoke for their electronics. This way when all the smoke runs out, you can refill it.That's a comparison almost worthy of Consumer Reports: comparing an air suspension LR against a street version GC, on roads you could traverse with a Miata.
But, with the LR, you do get the pleasures of Lucas electronics for those of you frustrated with UConnect, you don't know what frustration is yet.![]()
It seems both of them can overheat the pump, but allegedly the Jeep will hold you at your last height if it can, where the LR may drop you onto the rocks or alligators..Ok folks, I have always admired the LR4 (but own a '14 Overland) and was wondering what specifically makes the JGC the tougher of the two trucks...for instance, who has the superior air suspension etc. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
