For my sons first vehicle he is in 10th grade.

It has 75k miles on it but I am buying from a Jeep dealer who did the 50 point inspection and carfax is clean.

My question is there any "known issues" I need to be on the lookout for with this model, mileage, or year?

Should be good. Check to see if they did the 60K miles service and check under the Jeep for rust damage. Also a quiet test drive for any bad bearings, and if possible take it on a test drive through hilly roads to see if it goes into "limp mode"
