So I've read about every article on intake systems on this forum, and frankly there is way too much time spent on technical discussion and arguments around the efficacy of an aftermarket intake. So I'll keep it short.
I bought the K&N series 63 and I love it. Cost me just over $200 and installed it in 15 minutes. I plugged in my scan gauge II to record pre and post install intake air temps. Result- it's about the same. That said my Jeep just feels better. I tow a boat and it certainly helped. I also noticed a bit better throttle response. Did it had gobs of HP and Torque: NO. Was it worth $220?: YES.
