So dash has been saying key battery low for a while, pulled battery once and it went away for a while, but came back. So at noon today I went to unlock Jeep- lights flashing, horn honking, Jeep started and stopped all on its own. Pulled battery from fob and it all stopped- ok- need new battery. Installed new battery only to have same issues- spare fob seems fine. Is this one toast??

Possibly. But first I would pop it apart and give it a good cleaning. Might be a stuck or dirty contacts. Cotton swab and some isopropanol alcohol has worked wonders. At least try it.
