Something a little different on this build. I’ve had this Jeep for a long time and it’s gone through many stages but the current one I can say is the one I’m the most excited about. My Jeep has been through stock axles with a long arm suspension to Jk Rubicon axles, and on to one ton axles with coilovers. One area I have never paid much attention to but this winter I took a big jump. So I decided to pull the stock 4.7l V8 with 300k on with ran perfectly in the quest for some real horsepower. After seeing a few Hellcat powered JL’s running around I knew forced induction is a must. I’ve done a lot of LS swaps so that was gunna be the heart of the Jeep but to keep up with the hellcat power I did some research and decided a ZL1 LSA blower was gunna be the hot air blower to get it done.
So none of the accessory drive bracket out there would work with how tight everything is on the WJ so I decided to make my own and it turned out sweet.
Thanks for those pics. Reminded me of my good ole gear head days too many decades ago.
One memorable project, swapped out a blown 383 with sup'd up 413 in my old '64 Plymouth.
Fabricated up a new winch mount plate tonight. Way more pleased with this one over the original I made many many years ago. My skills have improved greatly since that first one was made
