Good Lord, that sounds amazing. Wow.

Will running w/o cats through any codes?

And what will the dealers have to say about a full exhaust? Any pushback on warranty?

MDS is built into the motor....not the exhaust.

First time mod-ing? You need to do a little work to run catless, such as a tune to turn off the rear O2s. The Green Cats that Kooks offers are 49 state legal and you really don't loose much by running with them. I haven't been able to tune our jeep yet and it hasn't popped a single CEL, and it won't.

Dealers will say "that sounds amazing, what is on there?" I mean, that is exactly what they said when we pulled into the service lane the other day. You do not need to worry about voiding any warranties with a full system unless something breaks directly related to the exhaust, which doesn't happen. Now, if you end up damaging something in the motor because you are running too lean because of a tune you did for the exhaust, then the warranty is void due to the tune.

in the end, an exhaust is about the safest thing (warranty wise) that you can do to a car without any push back from the dealer. This is from my experience though, take it for what you will. Calling your service adviser is always a good idea before doing anything.

Thanks! Still waiting on my headers. Kinda gotta laugh how he took off in the video. Then you see the holes dug in the pavement from previous launches.

Yes, you can do that as well. I think they mentioned something about trying to source the flaps and offer it as an option for those who still want to run the ECO mode.

I personally bought a V8 and prefer to run all 8 cylinders so i keep the ECO mode off :D

MT is exactly right. Just talked to a local service advisor and he damn near said the exact same thing.

This may be a stupid question lol but what exactly do those "flaps" in the factory exhaust do?

Right, the flaps are vacuum controlled. When the MDS kicks in, the vacuum pulls the valves "closed" reducing the amount of air traveling down the pipe making noise.
