Ok, i have the sepia and i love it, in colour, feel, finish and quality but i am a bit confused of its origin and yes i know it's from a cow:lol:. At the debut earlier this year, Ralph Gilles clearly mentions Poltrona Frau, which is what i thought i had until i got a letter from SRT about how to take care of the ELMO leather that is in my SRT?....ha what. Don't get me wrong, this leather is awesome, I've had Mercs, beemers and lexus's and the leather is superior to what was in them respectively. I believe i may be one of the first to have taken delivery of a laguna Sepia cladded Jeep SRT, my question is......did SRT originally have the leather supplied by Poltrona Frau and have since contracted ELMO to supply?

Out of curiosity i would love to know as I'm sure others would, Milous, Chevboy, are you able to advise.

Thanks

Hi Gigi,

Yes undoubtedly ELMO is a world leader in leather supplies, it is interesting though that initially Poltrona was mentioned.

Cheers

looks like the beginning of the second paragph in the below link confirms it. Mine is on the way as we so this is good to know

SRT has joined forces with Elmo Leather, based in Sweden, for this high-end leather package that will be available next year in the SRT Viper, Charger SRT, Grand Cherokee SRT and 300 SRT. The leather used for this package, dubbed Laguna for SRT use, comes exclusively from Scandinavian cows. With Elmo based in Sweden, that accounts for one of the major reasons why Scandinavian cows provide the hides of choice, but there’s more.
