Hi Everyone!
I had my leather dash replaced with help
of JeepCares roughly a month and a half ago. They were fantastic to work with through the whole process and I was asked to pay a small co-pay. The old dash was peeling up near the center speaker on the dash. The new dash looks fantastic and my local dealer did a great job w the installation. I do have a question for my personal knowledge though. If anybody knows please chime in....does the entire gear assembly (gearshift/selec-terrain area) need to be removed to complete the dash removal and installation? Any input would be great. Thanks!

Yes it has to be removed, just google remove gear shift on JGC, you'll find it. It's really easy to do.

Perfect. Thanks for the response. Upon reinstallation of the interior, the tech doing it must have missed a connection or damaged a connection to the LED lights surrounding my cup holders so one cup holder is completely dim. I have an appointment at the dealer today to have this rectified. 2 year warranty on dash and installation. Thanks again!!
