I have my first complaint!!

Ok, the new gear shift is no good right in the middle.

How to discover this issue.

Get in your 2014 JGC.
Drive to McDonalds
Order some food, be sure to include MORE than 2 drinks.
Pull up and Pay
Move to the 2nd window.
When asked if you would like a drink tray, reply "Yes"

Take the bag of food... now the drink tray.

 where do i put it!!!???

in the 2011 you could fit it perfectly in front of the gear shift while it was in drive.... now i dont know what to do with it! lol i had to put 2 drinks in the holder and carry the 3rd all the way home!

I usually put the two drinks in on the same row and put them directly up against the fire wall. That way, if you accelerate, the extra cardboard will stop the drinks from toppling over backwards (the two empty slots closest to the passenger seat) and when you brake, they are against the fire wall in the passenger compartment so they can't tip forward.

you mean.. 2 drinks in the front 2 spots on the passenger floor all the way forward?
Exactly... I also wedge it up against the front right of the passenger door (against the door and fire wall) as well. With all of that set in place, the only real thing you have to worry about is making a right turn. Other than that, you're all good (at least in my experience)

I just pull down the rear seat armrest before I get my drinks. With that down, you can have FOUR Drinks <queue dramatic music>

Believe me, you have a bigger problem - eating that crappy food.
I beg to differ. That food is hand made, organic and great for the whole family. Even my 11 month old loves it. Truly one of the best things for a growing child...

Simple. Don't eat in the vehicle.
Yep.....that's what I do - NO OPEN FOOD or DRINK is allowed in any of my vehicles and I Never put drinks in my Cup Holders !! I have picked up friends or family and they are REQUIRED to dump out all coffee, water or soda before getting in !!

I never go to the drive-up window and if I do get Fast Food Take-Out I put a binder clip on the top of the bag to keep it closed and lay it down on the slush mat in the 2nd row. I NEVER get their drinks with the ice & plastic tops - I would instead get a SEALED bottle of water or soda at a quick-mart. But even then, I would never eat or drink in the car. :D

Call me Anal (or whatever you want) but my Vehicle Interiors always look good !! :tongueout:
