Ive been pretty happy with my 11' Limited so far, only been to the dealer to fix the notorious panoramic headliner rattle and currently waiting on a replacement load leveling shock to replace a blown driver side one, but other than that it has been a good vehicle. I just rolled over 29k and i had the tranny fluid/filter changed and also changed the transfer case and differential oil to synthetic and had the spark plugs changed recently as well. I also cleaned the intake and installed the billet catch can and what a difference that has made.. I do hope to keep this jeep for awhile since it has been mechanically sound and trouble free so far, but i figure maintenance is key for a good running vehicle.:thumbsup:
Anyone else here with an 11' having good luck with reliability?

I noticed that the idle has gotten a little smoother and it used to emit a small puff of smoke while parked on a certain incline which seemed to have stopped with the catch can.

To answer Icetechs questions. An oil catch can is used inline on the pcv system to keep the oil residue from being returned to the engine intake to be burned, the can catches the residual oil and lets the pcv vent as normal, the result is a can full of oil you don't want building up in your intake or throttle body. Ive already emptied my can two times in 2500 hundred miles. Seems like a good investment for this V8 engine.:thumbsup:

'11 with 25,700 and very happy to this point. Had to replace a minor part on the cup holder and have the a part of the suspension tightened (probably due to off road use). Also had one DRL burn out.

2011 70th anniversary limited, 3.6, air suspension, 50,000 klm,- Only two minor fixes at dealer, update GPS and dud auto door lock switch. Extremely pleased with the vehicle, air suspension is great on our poor aussie roads, we often pull a tandem trailer with up to two tonne, running synthetic oil in motor with no oil consumption at all.

At 29xxxx with no major issues.My only qualm is the dang batteries in the key fob are pretty quick to die. I've had pretty good luck with Jeeps and continue to place my trust in the company.

Its seems the 11-13s are pretty solid,My jeep has been good to me so far, i just wish the Hemi got a little better gas mileage(don't we all wish that)
im kinda leary about the 14's since some people are having issues.,now hopefully i can keep the dealer from trying to get me to trade for a 14'...

Just got back from another road trip and rolled past 42k miles on my '11 bought in Aug 2010. Only major issue was the air suspension needing the compressor replaced. This happened in early 2011 and since then has been solid. Also, the V8 seems to be getting better with its mpgs now as well, averaging over 21mpg with this last road trip!

I'm sure you can keep the dealer from trying to get you trade. Just say "Thanks, but no Thanks". See... no dealer trying to get you to trade... But you do trade a lot so maybe you are leary of the early 14's and will wait for the 14.5? LOL

Well, "quick" is a relative term. My battery lasted over 2 years and 30,000 miles which I consider acceptable life.

Ha Ha you maybe right on that one:lol: But I seriously plan to keep my jeep for awhile, at least until 36k miles, i just hope that if anything major goes wrong, it will do it before warranty is up and ill just drive it until the wheels fall off., otherwise hello new 14' or 14.5:thumbsup:

I just flipped 28k in my 2011 Overland. I had a few squeaks and rattles that the dealer fixed without issue and I had rear shocks replaced due to unusual noise (common problem).

I am an aggressive driver and I get a bit better than 19mpg at 85mph without babying it at all. In town I'm stuck at about 12mpg but I have a lead foot.

I'm thinking I will pick up the lifetime warranty soon and just continue to enjoy the truck until Jeep figures out what their customers want. I feel they jacked up higher end 2014s. I'm really hoping the 2015s show more continuity and if they do I'll probably pick one up.
