HI all!!! I’ve been here for a while and never made a build thread, so I figured that I would do a build thread to let you all know what I have going on with my Jeep. I’m just doing a few posts to show the progress.

So, It started as a 2002 with a 4.7L, and every option except Leather, Heated Seats, Sunroof, and Adj. Petals. It’s got the Selec-Trac 4X4 transfer Case. I bought it from a good friend that ordered it new from the factory.

First Mod was a Old Man Emu 2.5” Lift kit; Using Nitro Charged Shocks, and new springs. After a little while I also added ¾” spacers to give it just a little bit more. Then Came the bigger tires. I run 32” tires on JK 17” rims.
Then I realized I need to make it ride and sound better. I added the 1” addco sway bars, and a throttle body spacer.

That wasn’t enough, so I put on a Gibson exhaust, and a K&N cold air intake. The only problem was that the Cold air intake wouldn’t fit with the spacer, so I ditched the spacer and added a Super-Chips Tuner.

MUCH BETTER!!!!

Next was some minor Cosmetic things… I changed the Grill from chrome to Black and painted the insert body color.

Then Came Black bumper paint, and Projector headlights with 8000K HID’s…

Then maintenance things, replaced the leaking High Pressure PS hose, Replaced the seat bracket with a non broken one, and did a whole overhaul of the brakes. UPDATE: Changed to Heated leather seats and replaced the Radiator.
After those I did some minor changes and touch-up’s. I received my rock sliders from JCR, and had them Powercoated. Installed a roof rack/High Lift Jack, and added LED Rock lights.

Next was the Audio system…
I Made a Ported box and added 2 10” JL Audio W3v2 Subs, and a JL 500x1 amp to power them; Added MB Quarts tweeters to replace the stocks. Put MTX elite 6.5” components in the front doors, and 6.5 without components in the rear. Added “FatMat” to the doors and trunk; including the tailgate. Then came the toys…. I made a custom Bezel for an AVIC-F90, and my deck fried so I had to swap in a F700 out of another car.
Then Came the fun stuff!! I bought an ARB Bull bar, and PIAA fog lights to put on it that I connected to the factory Fog Light switch.

Added a Viair Constant duty 200Psi OBA kit, since I wheeled with people that didn’t have a way of airing back up, and I needed to!
It’s messy at this stage, but not 100% done.

After that Came the WARN 9.5xp Winch, and Masterpull Synthetic line. Probably my 2nd Best mod yet. Did a lot of wheeling with that setup, but wanted more.

So next was a Full 1 off rear bumper and tire carrier with lights and all. I just couldn’t find anything I really liked, So I went this route.

Now that I had a place for the spare tire the roof rack was taken off.

Realized I couldn’t see a damn thing out the back, so I installed a rear view camera.

More toys started coming: Got my Bushwhacker Flares on, Spidertrax spacers, and 285/70/17’s put on. In came the new 4.5” lift parts, so I started that. I got IRO bolt on LA brackets, IronMan 4x4 Fab Long arms, JKS Quick disco’s, JKS Adj Track Bar, IRO Adj rear control arms and Rear adj Y, Clayton 4.5” springs, and all new isolators.
Install wasn’t bad in the rear until the jeep fell and literally cut my thumb off, they put it back on but I can’t get the rest of the lift done with 1 hand. In a couple months I can get my hand working I hope.

Let me know what you all think!!

Yeah, it wasn't attached.... just a piece of skin holding it on. Looked like a sausage that the casing wouldn't let go. The ER called it a "partial amputation" and used the term "de-gloving of hand."

I wont post pics of that.

Yeah, still in cast for another month or so. I'm going crazy not being able to work.

They say it will work ok again. After lots of therapy, my nerves are getting feeling back.

Wow bro sorry to hear about your hand! I hope it comes back 100% and all is well! Great build thread. How do you like the new Bushwackers? Their cutting template for the front seems a little funky. Are they worth the gain? Love to see a nice side shot if you get some time. Again bud I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks! It's slowly getting better so is the jeep.

The flares are great! The front was pretty easy, the Template is only for the rear, and I rushed one side so I had to re-do it. I just didn't cut enough the first time.
