I'm looking for a DVD/CD lens cleaner disc or other system for my OEM nav unit.
I'm not sure about the ones made for home units. Any recommendations?
This would be for maintenance rather than to correct a problem.

I've been using this for 15 years on all of my disc equipment, and it works quite well. Back when I was burning tons of music and photos to disc it would even solve problems with skipping music on discs. I use it on my dvd and bluray drives too.

RatShack CD cleaner works, as does Kodak Lens Cleaner or plastic eyeglass cleaner available from your local doctor or a Tarjay optical shop--cheap. With those, pick up an optical wipe cloth to remove them, don't use any paper product to avoid scratching the screen.

I prefer the Zeiss premoistened lens cleaning pads, where a whole box of them is cheap. There are competing products, all probably made in the same factory.
