I'm working on rebuilding a salvaged 2011 Jeep GC. There is frame rail damage on both sides in the front and in order to fix it I would like to splice in a section of good frame rail. I'm having a hard time finding junk yards with this style of jeep in it and I was wondering if anyone here knew of somewhere that might have wk2 salvaged jeeps (so I can hack off the front of their frame rail and splice it to mine). I know it will be difficult to find what I need because even if I find another wrecked jeep it can't have any front frame damage.

As of right now I have ordered new frame rails from the dealer but they have no idea of when they will be made and sent to me. This is really holding up my rebuild so I'm really hoping someone here can lead me to some place that might have what I need sooner rather than later.

I wasn't sure if this is the right section for this question, it can be moved if needed.

Just out of curiosity, why? Was your Jeeps frame damaged or are you just doing a project?

I had already bought the Jeep salvaged and now I'm rebuilding it.

Some good news, one of the frame rails finally came in from the dealer (still waiting on the other one). Hopefully I can start making some real progress now...
