Hey guys I bought a transmission temp gushed and need some help installing it, I ran the wires from the transmission but need help finding a good 12 volt power source that turns on when turning key, any help? Under the dash is there any locations? Thanks the directions look like this

Don´t know the XK, but you probably could use the radio supply. It will only also come on in ACC position.

Yes, the left cigar lighter will also be powered in RUN and ACC. If you don' t want it to be powered in ACC ( eventhough the power consumption is that low that it shouldn' t matter) , you could use the power supply from the AC system or the instrument panel.

Well I got it in, it looks good, tell me what you think? I used one of the vents to mount in

That looks nice. Can the light output be dimmed, so that it will not light up too much at night?
Would be nice to see what the temperature does during the different driving conditions. Is the indication in Fahrenheit?

Yep ferenheight ya it does I spliced that into the headlamp switch.
