Checked out the Rustoleum site and it says it dries to a slightly hazy matte finish so probably not so good for the shiny stuff but still lots of possibilities.

Cool stuff, think Ive bought some towels on holiday coated in this, as they don't dry you :lol:.
Have seen a vehicle for sale once in the UK with no wipers, saying glass self cleans, thought OK, but now have seen the proof.
