2004 Grand Cherokee.Pulled every fuse out today looking for issue on trailer lite connection. No blown fuse detected. Now the windows don't work, door locks don't work, side mirrors don't work.Air bag and seatbelt lights are on all the time.Any ideas? they all worked fine before checking all the spade fuses.

Welcome to the garage.
Did you check the fuses in the power distribution center under the hood? Fuse 12 (50A) is feeding power windows/locks/mirrors.

Ok,I just tried disconnecting the positive. That wasn't it.I tried swapping fuses. That wasn't it.I did also notice the door lock n passenger side works. Also twice this morning the power sunroof opened by itself.

The sunroof opened by itself without any input? Was that during trouble shooting, or where you driving? Only the power lock on passengers side works, or windows as well? Both front and rear passengers locks? Not the drivers side rear lock?

It just could be a coincidence, but no power locks, no windows and no mirror operation is often caused by a broken wire in the drivers side door boot. With this normally also the interior lights won't dim, only when putting the dim switch in off position. Doesn't hurt at least to have a look inside the drivers door boot.

Well, after making sure there was power to fuse #12 under the hood,I checked the (infamous) black wire.It had been repaired already and had come out of the connector. There was also a large orange w/ white stripe wire broken.I repaired both and everything is working now. Thanks for the input guys........BUT the airbag and seatbelt lights are still on all the time.

Both Airbag and Seatbelt indication lights are switched by the Airbag Control Module (ACM). Check the fuses 32 and 33 on the junction block under the steering wheel, both feed the ACM.

Did you solve the initial problem with the trailer light connection as well?

There was power to the plug onthe Jeep today when I checked it.I think I'll trace the wiring to the inside of the Jeep this weekend to see if it has a loose connection on the other end.It is an aftermarket Drawtite receiver, not sure if the same for the wiring. Thanks again for your help. Lonnie
