Did you have to drain the pan for that? or was it just plug&play?I found it. If you have a skid plate, you need to remove it. It is located under the oil filter a few inches towards the rear of the jeep. The part costs about $50. To replace it - there is a red switch that needs to be clicked to the other side and then in-front of that switch is a lip, with a flat head screw driver you can lift up and pull out the connecting wires. Unscrew the oil pressure sending unit (switch) with a wrench, replace it, reconnect the plastic parts and you should be good to go.
Can you be a little more specific about "clicked to the other side"? My locking clip is on the top side of the switch (closes point to the oil filter adapter) and on the back side when accessing from underneath the car. Make it very difficult to see how it is set up. Wondering if you need to somehow push on the thin red tab.I found it. If you have a skid plate, you need to remove it. It is located under the oil filter a few inches towards the rear of the jeep.
