Have you gotten/read the documentation for your system? It should tell you where to buy updates. You might also try;

I recently updated my nav database ($149) because some new housing additions and some newer roads were not shown. After installing the database, no new data was shown, the missing additions and roads were still not shown. I feel I wasted my money for the upgrade. Mine is a 2011 740N RER headunit.
