In short bought a new SRT front bumper painted white 2 years ago. About 6 months ago while washing it I noticed a large bubble near the front (quarter size). It eventually cracked and the paint came off. Yesterday another crack appeared and upon further investigation a lot of new bubbles popping up. It doesn't look like there was any primer under the paint. In short am I going to have to repaint? Or is there a cheaper fix?

Repaint, your paint shop didn't use the proper mix so that the paint sticks to the plastic.

And probably not prepped correctly either...proper sanding, and chemical prep wipe prior to primer

Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done other than a respray. Definitely signs of improper processes/materials used.

I'd take it to a different shop that will prep/spray it properly so you won't have these issues in the future.

My $.02.
