Well, guys, it looks like I'll be making the switch from "Dude who checks the status WAY too much" to "First-Time Jeep Owner" on Saturday!

Just got the call tonight that my brand new 2014 Limited 4x4 V6 will be delivered tomorrow, so I'm going to pick it up first thing Saturday morning. Went with the cherry ext, light frost int, tow package, luxury grp, and 20 in wheels. Can't wait to get it!

I was thinking about doing an in depth walk around video sometime this weekend. Is there anything you guys would like to see or have questions about on the GC that I'm getting?

Also, a quick thanks to everyone here. This place is such a treasure trove of information and great conversation!

What would you have done differently?

I would be more concerned about doing a delivery checklist. There a thread with tons of information from misaligned panels to paint defects.

I'm all over it. I'm going to be going for a good test drive, including highway to make sure I get above 60mph to check for rattles and transmission issues. Also going to be checking all the rubber door and window seals, lift gate alignment, window alignment and paint defects. Those are the most common problems I've seen people mention. The vehicle was built just a couple of weeks ago so I should be good as far as software updates go.

Any other big things I should be looking out for?
