Recently attempted dipping the window trim on mine the last two weekends, both ending with me messing up a tiny portion and having to redo the entire thing...not nearly as simple as the emblems and back taillight chrome trim.

I'm going to give it one more go this next weekend and if I can't get it perfect like I want, I'm giving up. So much wasted tape and effort, only to rip it off in less than a few minutes. :(

Me thinks an exacto will be the key, as mentioned above.

When Plasti-Dipping your window trim, you need to lift the tape when your last coat is still wet (this would be on the "window side" of the chrome trim). Don't mess with an Exacto knife around your paint.

Right on. That is really helpful and I must have missed this newer video they made about doing the trim.

I may have another go at it this weekend.
