Hello, I have a 2000 GRAND Jeep Cherokee, I replaced the engine with a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and in doing so I had to also put the computer from the 2001 Jeep Cherokee and now my security/skim key light is on and I can start the car. Please advise on a solution. Thanks

Why did you fit the PCM from the other car? Have you tried refitting your original one? You may have to get the keys programmed to the new PCM.

Hello, I assumed since the engines weren't identical that I would have to use the computer that went to that engine but as far as programing the key goes, everything I've watched or read on the subject call for two keys that are already programed and at this point I don't even have one. Thank you for your swift response
