Just purchased a 2019 WK2 Trailhawk last weekend (had the 3.6L Pentastar, Safety and Lux packages) with an MSRP of 50030 for 45.5K our the door - No Trade In. I’m located in Northern California with 9.25% sales tax ($4K+ of that was Sales Tax). Tax in CA is after dealer discount but before incentives and trade.

The vehicle had been sitting on the lot for 270 days, so I think they were eager to move despite it being the only TH on the lot. Qualified for $3750 of incentives (Retail Bonus Cash, Chrysler Capital Bonus Cash, and some July Unsold Lead TDM the dealer signed me up for). The remainder was made up of a $5500+ dealer discount.

We took the deal and ran - couldn’t get there fast enough. Had to drive 4 hours round trip however. I’m certain I was very near if not under their break-even point. The “conditional” price after discount and incentives was about $2K below Invoice price minus holdback and incentives.

The driveway looks interesting with a 2018 Diamond Black Crystal WK2 Summit EcoDiesel sitting next to a 2019 Bright White WK2 Trailhawk.

Alright, how’d I do folks?

2019 GC Limited 4x2
Crystal Black w/ Black Interior
Sunroof only option
MSRP $42,925

At the end of the day after leaving twice (lol) and driving 50 miles out of my way for this dealership:

Price agreed upon $35,999
TTL (Dallas, TX): $2,437.37
OTD: $38,436.37 w/ 0% financing

The win was leveraged by no one being there on a Saturday, a lot of 2000 cars, and knowing via Cargurus that the car had been on the lot 205 days.

2019 JGC Trailhawk with Hemi, Lux pkg, safety group. Sticker is $53,825. Invoice should be around $50,975.
Before TAVT (7%) I settled on $44,400 inc b/s dealer fees.

Think I could have gotten at least another 1k off with this being one of their last 2019s and my trade-in. Oh well! Only a couple JGCs left in the area with the Hemi + options. Seems to be in the range of others posting in this thread.

Ok hows this
High Altitude
53,385 MSRP
$517 per month 42 mths 15k miles
$1500 OTD includes 1st month payment
...did you sign already? This isnt a super great deal, after your down payment, it puts you at $552.71. 42 months is a very long lease and brings you out of warranty on this vehicle and I'm a massive Jeep fan but I would not want to own one out of warranty at all.

Highly reccomend you take a look at the forums at leasehackr.com. Tons of great info there on Jeeps and it should help you get a great deal.

Thank you for the info. I was reading here the rule of thumb is 1% of the MSRP, no? The 1500 includes 1st month and all doc fees. But now I actually got 513 but higher MSRP 54,580 because they added the 19 speaker system.

I managed to get back $800 in the dealer doc fees after submitting a complaint to the state consumer protection department. Check your state laws regarding how doc fees are advertised. In my case (Georgia), doc fees must be included in the advertised price of the car. Only gov't fees and taxes can be added after the advertised price. If they are added in addition to the advertised price the dealer is breaking the law.

The 1% rule is on 36/12. You are at 39/15 and below 1%. I think it is a good deal

I just leased a 2020 High Altitude with 5.7 V8. No money down, 36 month 12k miles a year, Only 1st month and tag transfer from old lease $726. Dealer paid off last 3 months of current Jeep Grand Cherokee Lease 481 x 3 + 400 termination fee for $1843.

Im in NY so the lease included the $2552 in taxes to the great state of NY. NY collects 8.625% on the total of payments and if the tax is in the lease they tax it a second time. Got to love it.

MSRP $56,680
Dealer discount - $3,569
Rebates - $6,850
Adjusted $46,261
Risedual 54%
Buy Out at end $30,607

worked out to 36 month lease at $529 a month

What do you think a good deal or a great deal?????????

Hello there!
My last Chrysler was a 1993 Red Plymouth Voyager. I went through 4 transmission rebuilds (3 within the warranty and 1 as a good will jester from Chrysler). Sold it 1997 and haven't owned anything American since then.

The current car I am planning to replace is my 2000 Mercedes ML 320. I got my eyes set on a white V8 2020 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. Pretty much all boxes checked except the rock rails, cd player, and metal trim.
Buy in California (contra costa county) with OTD price 47,000.
No trade in, private financing, no military, no down payment.

Is that possible? thanks

I have been shopping for a similar Trailhawk, with manufacturer sticker of about 54,600. The best discount I have seen recently was about 6,500 to a selling price of about 48,100 (before doc fee and sales tax). Curious what others are seeing.
