My 2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo has a lot of exterior black plastic- what is a good product to use to preserve and protect? Armor all, Back to Black type products last one rain storm or washing- and do not remove white wax residue. have been searching for a good product for a long time, and am open to suggestions. Thanks.

I used the infomercial stuff back to black or something like that. It works extremely well and a little bit goes a long way it's like 20$ for a little bottle as big as a glue stick.

I use Zaino polishes and they don't leave that white residue on the plastics.

Ditto. 303 Aerospace Protectant. Read the reviews on Amazon. Amazing stuff.

I have gotten great results with this Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus, tire & trim protectant, tire dressing, rubber protectant on the black trim on my 2012 JGCO. Used it from day one.

+1 Actually protects against the sun and doesn't just color the plastic black.

I went to the 303 site, and there are a zillion different products- which one are you referring to? I have used Boeshield, but can not figure out which product is best for keeping all the black eterior vinyl(?) trim black and non greasy, and lasts longer than the time it takes to apply it (remember Zymol- the pina colada experience?)

Living here at the Jersey shore, I first became aware of it when I had a boat and this produc was available at the local boating supply stores...

I use Motul Wash & Wax on the exterior trim, tires, wheels and headlight lenses. While it is listed as a "dry cleaner" I only use it after a washing. Holds up well and is not a wet- look dressing. I use it on the bikes too. I just might check out that Areospace stuff though.
