The 2013 Jeep web site shows the 4x2 Overland does not include Quadra-Lift and does include the Tow Package. The January 15, 2013 chart for the 2014 4x2 Overland does not include Quadra-Lift and does not include Tow Package. (4x4 includes both.) The 2014 pricing and the 2014 Jeep web site do not show Tow Package as being an Overland option.

Does anyone know if the 2014 4x2 Overland includes the Tow Package and excludes Quadra-Lift (like the 2013). (I have been told all Overlands, 4x4 and 4x2, include Quadra-Lift and Tow Package)? If the 2014 4x2 Overland does not include Tow Package, can it be an option?

Sorry. I didn't explain this properly. I don't want the prices. I'm trying to figure out if a 2014 4x2 Overland includes the Tow Package as standard. It did in 2013. And, one 2014 spreadsheet indicates the 2014 4x4 Overland includes the Tow Package, but the 4x2 does not. Another spreadsheet says all 2014 Overlands include the Tow Package. And, Tow is not listed as a 2014 Overland option.

Also, the 2013 4x2 Overland did not include Quadra-Lift (the 4x4 did). One report says all 2014 Overlands have QL. Another report says only 4x4 2014 Overlands have QL, like the 2013.

I know the 2014's are so new that there are bound to be conflicting reports. I will be getting a 4x2 and I do not want QL, but I do want Tow. I can get a Limited like this (w/Lux, Tow & 20's). I thought I could not get an Overland like this (that the Overland would have QL). I could have gotten a 2013 Overland like this. If I could get a 2014 4x2 Overland w/o QL and w/Tow, then I would look at this versus the Limited.

If it was standard, they wouldn't have it listed as a $795 option.

Right. Build and price now lists it as an option for the 4x2 Overland. That makes the Overland - Limited difference greater for the 4x2 (if adding Tow to the Overland) than the 4x4, where 4x4 Overland includes both Tow and QL and 4x2 Overland does not include either. A Jeep pricing anomoly.

Since I want 4x2 w/Tow; hello Limited, goodbye Overland.

That's where I got confused. The second schedule does not differentiate between 4x2 and 4x4 Overland for Tow, just like in 2013 (it does for QL). The 2013 4x2 Overland did include Tow and did not include QL. It looks like the 2014 dropped Tow as standard with the 4x2 Overland.

Since I don't need NAV, having to add Tow to a 4x2 Overland makes it sufficiently more expensive than a similarly optioned Limited that's it not worth considering. So, its on to the Limited.

According to Jeeps website, the Trailer Tow Group IV is available as an option for the 4x2 Overland, but not available at all for the 4x4 Overland. Seriously? They can't be serious. :(

acilate, the 4x4 Overland includes the Towing, etc., as standard. It's not an "option".

Then they have poor QA on their website. Why does the Summit list is as standard, but the Overland list it as not available?

Not surprising the computer is confused, the Factory Service Manual I bought acts like something from the last century. (Mac or Tab or Smart Phone or even Firefox or Chrome fagedaboutit).
Chrysler seems to love Internet Explorer. Even their own internal employee website hates Firefox.

And uh, why would one need Quadra-Lift on a 4x2?????

I think it depends. When I got mine there were 2 overlands sitting side by side. 2x4 everything the same. One had tow package one didn't. I don't think it is standard.

According to Edmunds web site on 2014 JGC models: "The towing package that's standard on the Overland and Summit models is available as an option on the Laredo, Limited and SRT trims."

Of course, it's still possible they may be wrong....
