Hello all quick question. I installed LEDs in all my interior lights this past weekend. One of my rear handle lights stays on when I open and close the doors now and when the car is running. The handle light is dimmed when it does this. If I don't open the doors then I can press the light and turn it off. But if I open the doors again it turns on but at a lower light then if I was to actually press it on.

Any ideas why this could be? I have taken apart the actual light itself and made sure all the connections were good. So yeah any help would be appreciated.

Btw it's a 2007 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7l v8. Thanks for any input

many posts about the lights glowing dimly when converted to leds due to the lack of load that is inherent with led lighting, most people leave the hatch light incandesant and it solves the problem, however since that is the only light glowing i dunno
ok just reread youre post you are referring to one of the back door lights not the hatch. if you also converted the hatch lite than try putting the incan. back in the hatch

You were correct I replaced the hatch light with the oem bulb and presto the rear handle light now goes off. Thanks for your help.
