I just got my 2014 Overland and after 800 miles I still absolutely love it. I'm just not sure if i like all the chrome on it. I'm extremely not familiar with car modifications including plastidipping. I was thinking of potentially doing the grill, fog light area, the lower bumper, and maybe the handles and side view mirrors. Anyone have any thoughts of which of those to do based on what they did and how they liked it.

I also am not a do it yourself guy so I'd need to find a body shop to do the work. Can i trust them to do it correctly? How much would/should I pay for this sort of thing?

youtube some vids on plastidip. You cant screw up. Even if you do you can peel it away.

plastidip tends to have a texture feel to it so idk about doing the handles. If you are going to spend $ for a shop to plastidip the chrome, might as wellask them to paint it instead. waste of $ to ask some guy to spray some rattle can IMO.

You can also vinyl the chrome. easy to do and lots of writeup on both processes on this site.

Yeah don't pay anyone for Plastidip it's idiot proof more or less.
IMO pay to have it look right, I'm not a fan of rattle canning brand new 40k plus vehicles.

It all depends on how you do it. The grille is easy to do, just take your time and do the 4-5 lite coats and the 6 a little thicker. It will come out very smooth. I would not do the door handles though. To much daily contact and may scratch easy.
The good thing is if you don't like just peal it off.

Again, youtube. I watched these and got some great tips. I also did my challenger and it looks great.

Its super easy and like everyone said if you mess it up just re do it. Here's mine just did the grille, fogs and mirrors

Honestly it's less work to do it yourself then to take it to the dealer.

yup.
like everyone mentioned its easy.
If you can use a masking tape and paper, you can do anything with plasti dip.
