I'm in love with mine too so far... They perform great and look awesome. Plus no more squeaking :).
I can't tell a difference in stopping power from the OEM ones from the little time I've been using them. And when I used them at the track for the first time I, they performed great and felt very solid, stopped on a dime on a hard braking I did.
I'm using OEM Brembo front pads and Akebono CTS-V Ceramic Euro Pads for the rear.

They are great to deal. I have access to a few different brands of rotors but recommend the R1's all the time. I've had mine on a year now and love them.

Love the shit outta mine. It takes 4 weeks of brake dust to equal 4-5 days of brake dust with the OEM crap. R1 Rotors and Hawk HPS pads FTMFW!

My friend is installing R1s on my dad's Toyota 4Runner as I'm typing this.
My dad wanted them just like mine with the cross drilled and slotted design, too bad that with his stock rims you will barely see them lol.

Rob, how are these performing after a couple months use and is there a performance difference with the OEM ones ?

im not driving any roadcourses so hard to tell how much better these are than stock. I bought them mostly for the LOOKS.

I bought the Hawk ProCeramic pads and thats where I think I lose a little bite. I would recommend the Hawk HPS pads. They have the bite yet are low dust. I use the HPS on my other Jeep, the XJ, and just love them. Good bite, low dust, no noise, long wear.

Just upgraded to R1 premium drilled slotted with wagner thermoquiets. Very impressed with the rotors when I pulled them out of the box. seemed very heavy duty. HAd them installed and they really look and stop great. no fade no squeaks no pulse. I can't say enough. Thanks to R1 for a great deal and to Jeepgarge for having some great relationships with vendors.

Does R1 Concept rotors get that hideous corrosion on them?

My E-line series rotors come with zinc plating. The whole rotor is dipped in silver zinc (still not an anti-rust).

The Premium rotors have a rust protection but only on the center hub, inner vane structures and outer rim of rotor. Where the black coating is where the rust protection is.
