I just had the windshield replaced in my '06 G/C by a well known company. This is the first time I have had it replaced. While everything looks good, I am getting a rattling/crackling sound from the windshield at highway speeds. Obviously, it must have something to do with the wind hitting the windshield because there are no noise while driving around town. There is no indication of any voids in the seal around the windshield (wind noise, whistling).
Has anyone had this sort of problem? Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? There was NO noise of any kind before it was replaced.
Are there inferior made windshields? I know that these Jeeps are sensitive to aftermarket parts (o2 sensors, cats). Could the windshield also be included? as it is not OEM.
