Guys, I have some rust coming out from the frame of the rear quarter windows.
Here is my thought, of course highly possible that it's not fresh idea.
1.Cut out the quarter windows with wire cutter
2.Remove the whole iron frame that integrated in rubber
3.Clean up the rubber frame from any particles
4.Sand it and make even rubber frame
5.Glue the quarter windows back with using Polyurethane glue(brand 3M, WINDO-WELD SUPER FAST URETHANE)
6.Before gluing I plan to use primer for Polyurethane glue(brand 3M, Single Step Primer)

Please, help with advices and possible issues

Welcome to the forum.

It would be great if you could post some pictures of the rust both form a couple foot distance and detailed.
What you're suggesting as the fix might be in the ballpark but there might also be an easier fix.

Unfortunately no visual rust right now because every time when washing the car I use INDIGO-10. From some places around the windows much rust coming out. Very visual because the color converted to purple by INDIGO-10.
I can make the pictures next car washing
