So i had a recent issue with my 2014 GC. Second time its been into the shop in 1 month of having it. This time a different issue. On Monday afternoon I went out and started the car. My dash lit up like a christmas tree. I had the Service Airbag, Service ABS and Service EBS lights on and also the speedometer did not work.

I brought it right in for service. I just spoke to the service manager and he said that there was a glitch in the computer and they had to reboot it. Now I am an IT guy for a profession so i know reboots do fix issues haha.

I am wondering how do they reboot the computer and is it something I would be able to do myself if it was to happen again. What does it entail?

What are your guys thoughts?

For whatever it's worth I had the EXACT same experience (dash lit up like xmas tree with warning lights, and QL going up and down at every stoplight). They claimed there were no codes for over/under voltage (that would have led me to suspect a grounding issue) but a laundry list of other codes and the solution was to "reboot the computer". They claimed that it was not something that could be done outside the shop. I am making no clams to the validity of that statement but just what I was told. Needless to say that was 2 weeks ago and I have not seen a repeat of the issue.
