Thought you guys might get a kick out of MOPAR's pitch for their extended warranty (sorry MOPAR I bought mine at purchase time)
You should buy a warranty because with repairs it could save you hundreds even thousands **

Emission System $1789
Airbag $721
Air Conditioning $742
Transmission $3039
Steering Gear $3039
Computer Module $1317
Fuel Pump $555

**Actual Costs May Vary By Vehicle, Repair, and Dealer ( Really???--why???)

Note: Some EXCLUSIONS apply. Benefit options vary by contract, vehicle and warranty (This is like TV where the guy talks so fast you can't understand him but it's legal as they stated conditions) Remember when Gary Coleman was doing those title loan commercials--I paused it one night so I could read that they were like 98.6% interest.:wtf:

My early build 2014 GC Limited V6 will be gone before the stock warranty is up...don't want to chance another 10 trips to the dealership for repair work, even if it's covered 100%.

Between the transmission, 8.4A, and rear leveling shocks issues...as well as all these "updates" and TSBs coming from Chrysler all the time, I've lost faith my Jeep is worth keeping more than 3 years.

That's why I bought it. I figured one good problem and it will break even. So far, knock on wood, there have been no problems. Although I will probably be making a claim against it (for the trans thunk) when I go get an alignment.

Dealer costs vary by region just like gas prices do. Overhead and operating costs are different in different areas.

Take a peek at the F150 forum, Tundra Talk, etc. and you will see it is nothing out of the ordinary.
