I have a 2006 4.7, when I first start up In the morning and start backing up I begin to hear and feel a thud/clunk and seems as my back right wheel locks up where the noise is coming from...could anyone tell me what this is? Thanks in advance!

I would check the parking break drums and shoes as a first step.

I came to get it checked out and they are replacing the caliper because they said when they took it for a drive the back passenger caliper was significantly hotter so that should fix the issue I hope!

Either the pads or the shoes were stuck resulting in the excess heat.

Make sure they check both the caliper and the drum - with the parking break being hidden behind everything they may miss it...
