Looks good! But here are the ones I used, they are a little brighter then the ones you got.
I love this mod cause of how the rear camera lights up bright white.
Definitely recommend doing this. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1474984312.689864.jpg

Used "JDM AStar" because they were the only company I could find that makes both sizes needed.

I live in Virginia and took my 2015 Overland in for a safety inspection. They said the reverse lights failed because of 'non-DOT' LED bulbs which I got from VLEDS.

Anyone else in Virginia had this happened? Are there any DOT approved LED reverse bulbs out there?

I live in VA and I just took my '16 in for inspection. It took all of 3-4 minutes. I'm pretty sure they just replaced the sticker. I definitely didn't hear the wheels coming off! It's funny because the same guy failed me twice for a broken side mirror and airbag light on two older cars. Anyways, I have the 7440 LEDs in for the rear turn signals and brake lights and I will be shocked if it ever fails for that BS. I would just never go back to that shop.

Big thanks to lbyinchina for finding these bulbs! I just switched out my OEM bulbs for these reverse lights using the same bulbs. I have a 2016 75th Limited 3.6L. Here is the updated amazon link to the #921 bulbs for the tailgate.

I completed this in about 15 minutes. Removal of the interior panel was easy using the trim removal tools from the OP. I have no errors/warnings. The total cost (including trim tools) was $35. I think it looks great. I was concerned before I started about them being "too bright," but they are fine. They are not too intense to be a nuisance to others.

I am a big fan of lbyinchina finding and testing these bulbs from amazon (I also used his link for swapping the brake/turn signals, which I have used for over 1 year now without issue). Using these bulbs will save you a lot of $$$ compared to the "LED kits"

Apparently, the 2015+ jeeps aren't too picky about which bulbs you put in. For me '16, I have changed out interior lights, fogs, tails, and reverse. I've done a mix and match of various brands on Amazon and haven't had a single issue with codes/errors. I usually wait for lightning deals and price drops on many of them. All these bulbs have an average of about 6mos in my jeep and all products are holding well so far. There are many solutions out there that I've taken a chance on. Amazon had never let me down with returns if necessary so I was down to try.

Tails:

Reverse: (Have two different brands but color match is perfect. Both are way brighter than halogens but not annoyingly so)
921

7443 (Only thing about these as they fit but not perfectly, they don't recess enough for the side clamps to engage but they're still snug and I've had no issues with the connections loosening)

Interior T10s: (These are waaaaay bright)

Interior vanity: (Don't look directly at these, you'll blind yourself. lol)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MOYJ0YW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Fogs: (Note: If you need super bright. These aren't the ones. This company has other solutions but these put out about the same as the halogens. I just wanted cooler white color to better match HID. I caught them on a black Friday deal. These are perfect for my needs.

I did the Sylvania White LED Bulbs - 921 and 7440 in my 14' WK2 and they look amazing. It's inspired me to do up the interior bulbs as well (since I already have had one of the stock bulbs fail). Thanks for the ideas guys!

There are four bulbs in total. The outer one (one per side) located on the rear (fender) body is a 7440 bulb. The inner one (one per side) located on/in the rear hatch is a 921 bulb.

The outer one is very easy to replace as you just remove the taillight. The inner one is more involved as you have to drop/remove the inside rear hatch panel.

I just replaced the outer bulbs with high performance 5000K projector lens LED bulbs. I left the inner incandescent bulbs in place. I'm very happy with the results. I have the LED projectors for distance and the stock incandescents for close up.
