Looking forward to your numbers...do you have the V6 or the V8?

Have a great trip! Be careful in the speed trap known as Virginia, the new jeeps are so smooth it is easy to speed without even knowing it.

V6

Going to leave at about 6PM Saturday. My fiancee and I are pretty good on the overnight drives. We do about 3 hour shifts and continuously change. We usually just put it 5mph over speed limit and let it cruise.

We did similar 2 years ago going from South Amboy, NJ to Orlando, FL in a rented JGC and loved it. It's actually a huge reason we purchased the one we have now.

I'll post all the stats when I have the chance. I'm actually excited for this one.
you'll be passing through my neighborhood (baltimore) ha if i did that trip... it'd be eleventybillion dollars in gas!

Enjoy, drive safe.
Leg 1 complete. 848 miles. 20 mpg. Approx 12 hours 30 min driving time. Georgia to NOLA tomorrow.
Have fun sounds like its gonna be a blast. Would have hoped to hear better numbers than 20mpg. Just curious what the mileage on your jeep is? I averaged 18.5-19mpg in my 2012 Overland without ever touching a highway. Would love to hear more details. Be safe!
It was wired. From NJ to VA I was getting about 23.5 mpg and then I'm sure it was cause of the conditions but the roads got very hilly and it was down pouring and it dropped to about 19mpg. The speed was constant between 65-75 mph on cruise.
And I'm at around 3700 miles now.
Just did a similar trip back in Aug. Vegas-AL-DC Though, that trip, we had a POS Penske truck with us lol.
