Hey 'MAC' . . . and Hi to everyone and anyone who "recall" who I am ! Being a Retired Sonar-man (NAVY) and a Long Island New Yorker, now I'm living about 2500 miles West of ! I see the license plates have gone back to what they were as a kid growing up in Nassau County (ugh, in the '60's). "We" were big on surf fishing (then) too. Loved the occasional trip out to Montauk for the stripers. Did a lot of sailing out of Picnic Bay, and of course all sorts of fishing . . . fishing fishing fishing !
just in case your wondering, I'm the Origionator of this Thread . . . FlyFinaticLou . Wish I could get someone (a moderator?) to shift the avatar so more of my head shows (from the original photo ? That possible ? Oh well.

I like it! I took mine wheeling when it had 20s. You have to be a little more careful on 20s but it’s definitely doable. These pictures are on 20s, before I decided to drop down to the Black Rhino 18s.

The last one in the mud, that was a challenging day. That was a slippery hill (at Hollister Hills), and merely standing on the snot-slick mud was tricky.

The first one is also at Hollister Hills. My daughter and I just did that black diamond trail. The JGC does pretty well on the trail for such a nice rig.

Echo7tango - now there is a "name" I am familiar with - NICE to see your still "at it" and enjoying the "Showing & Telling" ! Yup it's "Me" - MR. SHOW & TELL - back in the fold (maybe?). Looking to get into something newer, perhaps a 2020 WK2 ? or a 2021 WL ? Been considering just about all the JEEPs including the Gladiator ! Shock . On most of the other Forums I'm known as Lou3.6 just in case anyone wants to see what shenanigans I wrote/write about on "them". Just doing some quick browsing today, but can see the vast improvements in "cleaning up" all the "crap" and making it enjoyable - good job Milous ? Did Milous take over the "Head Honcho Position" ? NICE. Congrats, if you did. Super glad to see those few "Bad Posts" over the Fiasco have been removed. Camping Camping Camping . . . ha, that's still my bag, along with the Fly Fishing (#1 priority). Speaking of which, I just got back (about a month ago) from a 6 week trip to SW Montana and on the 8th of October I head back to West-Central Montana (Craig) to attend a Spey Casting/fishing 3 day Clinic . Fun ! I'll be going thru some photos and see what I can upload that may have my G.C. in them -- not many i'm afraid . Lots with my newly acquired drift boat and fish-porn, but nothing overlanding or balancing on 2 wheels, ha !

Love this last photo . . . only thing missing is MY 'Reconator' (2016 WK2 in recon green) - then it could be a "threesome"! ha.

I have to get to Colorado one day soon.
You won't be disappointed . My 1st (and only so far) was in 2017 - spending about 5-6 weeks in (mainly) the SW part . That would be SW of Basalt, CO. . I barely scratch the surface with "real off roading" as I was mainly there to experience the fly fishing and camping . It's a bit of a longer trip from Eastern WA. than my usual jaunts into Western Montana - again mainly for the fly fishing / camping . For all out rugged natural beauty, any of these states will get your "attention" - Utah, Western New Mexico & Arizona , Western Wyoming & Montana and of course most of Colorado (less so in the NW quadrant & Eastern Plains) . I prefer Forests & Mountains over Desert landscapes (usually) with the exception of Utah (i.e. Moab region) . I've made it sound a bit like "the grass is greener," but, my State of WA. has much to see . . . just gotta pick and choose places . Don't mean to leave out Oregon . . . it's just I haven't explored it yet .
