Echo7tango - now there is a "name" I am familiar with - NICE to see your still "at it" and enjoying the "Showing & Telling" ! Yup it's "Me" - MR. SHOW & TELL - back in the fold (maybe?). Looking to get into something newer, perhaps a 2020 WK2 ? or a 2021 WL ? Been considering just about all the JEEPs including the Gladiator ! Shock . On most of the other Forums I'm known as Lou3.6 just in case anyone wants to see what shenanigans I wrote/write about on "them". Just doing some quick browsing today, but can see the vast improvements in "cleaning up" all the "crap" and making it enjoyable - good job Milous ? Did Milous take over the "Head Honcho Position" ? NICE. Congrats, if you did. Super glad to see those few "Bad Posts" over the Fiasco have been removed. Camping Camping Camping . . . ha, that's still my bag, along with the Fly Fishing (#1 priority). Speaking of which, I just got back (about a month ago) from a 6 week trip to SW Montana and on the 8th of October I head back to West-Central Montana (Craig) to attend a Spey Casting/fishing 3 day Clinic . Fun ! I'll be going thru some photos and see what I can upload that may have my G.C. in them -- not many i'm afraid . Lots with my newly acquired drift boat and fish-porn, but nothing overlanding or balancing on 2 wheels, ha !
FlyFinaticLou! How are you? Good to hear from you. And I hope you always stay in the fold and always hitting the trails!

Took the Trailhawk to Big Bear and ran Gold Mountain, black diamond rated 6-9 on the Jeep app.
That's impressive! Love those Trailhawks. Are you up there this weekend? My WK2 is down for repairs so I decided to take my new RAM Power Wagon up there. I'll keep an eye out for a gray Trailhawk GC -- so far I have seen several Renegade Trailhawks. Capable little buggers.

Thank you for that ! ME? I "guess" I'm "fine"? Never know one Blood work-up to the next (every 4 to 6 months) !
But, I try to stay Positive and in the "fold," which is to say My Fly-Fishing/Camp-Mode Fold ! With the Reconator of course. Would of replied sooner but since last post^ I was in Craig, Montana at a Trout Spey Clinic and re-learning the "art" of 2-hand Spey casting with my new 11 footer! FUN, being the primary objective - caught a few nice fish too (20" class Brown). Too cold to camp so I stayed in an old 1960's gutted "trailer park" disaster, ha ! ;)
I do need to "hit some trails," as you say, just for the sake of THAT - seeing the beautiful distant views while picking up someone else's trash at my feet. :(. You know me, usually gotta ad a Social Commentary or 2, now and then ! ? Good to be back - had my fill of the RAM's and the Gladiator's and decided "they" are not in my best interests, financially or reality ! Ta ta for now . . .

About 2 weeks ago my son asked me how to get to the top of Saddleback Mountain (where all the towers are located). So we jumped in the Trailhawk and I showed him.

The trip to Joshua Tree didn’t happen. We packed the Trailhawk up the day before and were ready to hit the road that morning; however, I had a funny feeling so I turned on my computer to check their website. I was glad I did because the trip had been cancelled (that very morning). There were only 3 of us going and with the leader being the one who knew his way around Joshua Tree had to cancel due to an emergency during the night. My new plan is to go on or about the 18th. Most likely I'll be there by myself; unless some of you would like to join me.

Not yet. The weather, the holidays and family get togethers have made me put it off; however, I will get there one day soon (this is a promise).
Understandable. No worries. Looking forward to your writeup and pictures when you do go. In the meantime, enjoy your holidays.

Drove the trails Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in Joshua Tree, CA (not all of them - there were too many to do them all)
