I'm going to put up a build thread soon, but I need some help first.

I've steered away from lifting this one. I already have my BB 06.

I was browsing through the sticky in suspension. Looks like I may be doing bwoodys with srt8 bilsteins with some performance action.

So far I've came up with..

Suspension
-Bwoodys springs
-srt8 bilsteins
-(poss srt8 sways)
-(srt8 links)

Wheels
-srt8 reps (black)
-tire (unsure)

Performance
-afe stage 2 intake
-mbrp exhaust
-HO cam
-custom tune

She's sent out for 20% tint today pics later.

Now my question is mostly for suspension.. Is anybody running the bwoody springs, srt8 bilsteins on a non srt?? Pics please :)

Are there any modifications I have to do with wheel wells or anything. I'm just seeing what my BEST combo can be for a nice drop (big drop). Thanks in advance.

at the end I had

Suspension
-Eibach SRT8 springs
-Front srt8 bilsteins
-Bwoody WK links
-Front SRT Sway
-Rear Addco Sway
-Rear Adjustable shocks QA1
-JBA Front UCA

Wheels
-viper 20 reps (black chrome)
- 255/50 as I wanted a bit more sidewall for the crappy roads.


with all that my Jeep rode very well.....handled all bumps and such. no bouncey rear......

I see the one guy has factory struts with bwoodys. Could I go with an srt8 shock (OEM) or a aftermarket like monroe or KYB? I think a OEM strut slammed with bwoodys would kill that strut. The bilstins are pricey, but maybe down the road ( i just put bilsteins in my other jeep for 200) eek the srt8's are 3x as much.

Oh and I just found some black viper reps. :eek: drooooooooool.

so youre making this one more of a corner carver? so many options- its almost as bad as deciding on a lift.

id go scotts route when going for the lowered look or robs, they both have had their combinations of struts and springs till they found the perfect set up- and they definitely did their homework

droppin it. I think the Bwoodys are too much for what I want. I think a eibach drop with viper reps will be good for me.

When I had 20's on my v6 never had an issue. after i bb my v6 it was good, then I had to drop another 600 bucks in front end parts quickly after I lifted it. I want to SL it, but i'm afraid the front ends going to get tore up bigtime again... but man it would be so awesome. there is 41k on this one aswell. the other one had 146k.. so i do understand that my parts are a little better in shape. TBH, I'm still on the fence with lifting or lowering. I've had both already with the v6. Now I have the V8 and QD II. Just that in itself is a blast for me.
