Hi All, I took delivery of my JGC limited with off road adventure group, last October. Two weeks after I took delivery, I had an issue with smoke entering the cabin and have had issues with exhaust fumes entering ever since. Has anyone had similar issues as Chrysler seems unable to fix problem.

I only get fumes inside when the ac is on and I'm behind an old diesel.

I can only guess that maybe you have a crack/ hole in your exhaust system or the headers leading down to your exhaust.

I remember another thread similar to this, try searching for it. I can't from my phone ATM otherwise I would have.

A couple questions - do you notice it at a stand still or when driving? Does it make you sick while driving? Good luck and I hope they figure out the problem.

Do you have it on recycle air when traveling in traffic as fresh air also includes diesel and other smells entering the cab

This my be worth a look. I had the the NEW CAR ENGINE smell for about 3k mile. One day While the Jeep was sitting in the garage I got under it to look at the exhaust. Jeep had placed several part number stickers on the exhaust. I had to scrap them off and have not had the smell since.

Hi All,
I have had all the above issues and a grommet dislodged in the fire wall as well. The smell comes and goes, is not there all the time, but when it occurs it is hard to predict. It occurs with and without the AC on or fan running. The vehicle has been in several times for repairs, and is a little better each time, I.e. does not occur as much.
