Yes, some cars are chosen at random. Early on some Jeeps were held up for a long time. I haven't heard of any extreme waits lately.

Special Inspection?????
I called this morning to check for estimated delivery date on my 2014 Grand Cherekoee Limited. I was told it was chosen for a special inspection. I was also told this was not a bad thing. It is a very thorough inspection. Has anyone ever heard of this?? It has been in Final Inspection stage for a week now. I guess I am over anxious. I was hoping for delivery before I go on vacation which is in less than 2 weeks..not sure if I will get it before then.

Thanks...I guess I will just have to be patient.
Maybe now I won't have any bugs to work out when my new Jeep gets delivered!!
I will make sure I look under the seats when I get deliver of my new Jeep!!

Worried no, patient yes. They may have found something that needs to be fixed.Okay....it has been over 2 weeks in "Final Inspection" now.

I wish mine had that done... just went out to wash mine a few days ago and realized they put the wrong passenger side lower trim piece on with the wrong part. Looks like they put an SRT instead of the Overland. After all the problems with mine - I had to laugh. Dealership had to order a new one, will have it painted and replaced.
