I called this morning to check for estimated delivery date on my 2014 Grand Cherekoee Limited. I was told it was chosen for a special inspection. I was also told this was not a bad thing. It is a very thorough inspection. Has anyone ever heard of this?? It has been in Final Inspection stage for a week now. I guess I am over anxious. I was hoping for delivery before I go on vacation which is in less than 2 weeks..not sure if I will get it before then.

Yes, some cars are chosen at random. Early on some Jeeps were held up for a long time. I haven't heard of any extreme waits lately.

Maybe now I won't have any bugs to work out when my new Jeep gets delivered!!

I will make sure I look under the seats when I get deliver of my new Jeep!!

Okay....it has been over 2 weeks in "Final Inspection" now.

Should I be worried?...

I am still waiting for delivery of my new loaded Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4!

It was ordered 5/24 and has been in Final Inspection for almost 4 weeks now.

It sure would be nice to know what is going on with it. It makes one wonder if there is a issue with it that cannot be fixed. They could of built another one by now.

Just thought I would give everyone an update.....

After 10 weeks... 5 were in special inspection... I received my new jeep.

I am happy to say it is the most awesome Jeep I have ever owned!! It practically drives itself. I have had no issues yet after 5 weeks of driving it. Only had a freak issue with rear drivers side tire. After one week the tire blew out at the rim...what are the odds of that happening!

Anyway...wanted to say something nice. My new 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with ALL the options is wonderful. Well worth the wait!!!
