Thanks gcgms, yep it's really chalk and cheese between the 8 and 5 speed.
If you want to climb mountains then best stick with the overland, but if you want sheer driving pleasure that brings a smile ear to ear, the SRT is the way to go.

As Scott said, the headlight halos will turn on with the LED strip if you turn your parking lights on. The problem is that it isn't automatic at that point, so you have to remember to turn the dial every time in/out of the vehicle. It does give you a nice little chime reminder to turn them off though :)

I have been meaning to take more photos but i have not had a dry day since i took delivery, hopefully this week will be better. Pretty dirty at the moment, and those damn front pads are nasty, they have got to go, way way way to much dust.

Took some more pictures of the interior to share, unfortunately with all the rain we have had past week it pretty dirty on the outside, so no outside pictures. Some close ups of the leather, suede headlining/piller and performance pages showing a white SRT, the best colour of course...:lol:ha ha ha ha......

thanks a lot for the extra pictures. Beautiful! The suede roof and pillars are great as well.

The wife is almost fully convinced on the sepia interior.

Which dealer did u order from and when. I ordered ours in December and have to wait till
Mid August . I was never offered any options either like wheels or sepia
. Anyway I can't wait to see the look on the misses face when she gets it .
She has no idea . Black with roof and bar . I ordered black as I did not like the black grill on colour . I hope it's not too much of a pain
Congratulations on your car it looks good

Disagree. The sepia wouldn't contrast as well then. It would be overload.
+1 I agree the contrast is what makes this interior pop.

mrmaker,

Beautiful looking car mate. I had my heart set on the white w/ black interior but after seeing yours, you've really got me thinking now. I really wanted to replicate the my13 Alpine look (i.e. dark wheels etc) and was just wondering what wheels did you get ? (looks like the spider monkeys? ), are they the dark rims and did they cost you extra?

Are you still happy with the sepia interior (what is the official name for the interior?)

cheers,
Pete

Thanks Pete! Yeah i think white is a good colour, but really any colour on these things look great, it's just that good looking . I do have the satin carbon spider monkeys, i tried hard to get the black chrome through HQ but for some unknown reason no black chrome for OZ, they are at no cost.

I love the sepia, i think they call it 'Sepia Laguna leather', its the best leather cladded car I've owned and compared to cars I've seen twice it's value, it's on par if not better, you can see and feel the quality and know it will age well, like a good old baseball mitt. It's not for everyone!, we all have our own personal tastes, but i think they got it right, i love it, the whole car is a dream to drive, turning heads not once but two or three times.

Ps: i see your from the hills!, go the hills:D
