I thought about doing this for a while but decided against it due to the monetary cost of it. When I was looking into it, you would need to buy the srt8s, the tires, and a lift kit. The srt8s were gonna cost me about $1000. Then all the off-road tires (that have a decent tread) that have a 20" diameter are 33s/34s/etc and they were running about $400 a piece. So that's another $1600 for tires. Finally, that big of a tire wouldn't fit very well. It would require some modding of the wheel wells and a lift kit for clearance.

Which SRT8 style are you going with? Gen 1 or Gen 2 rim?

Will it work? Yes. Practical? Maybe.

The Gen 1 came with the WK and the Gen 2 came with the WK2.

You don't NEED to run 33/34 but in the US those were the only tires I could find that fit a 20" rim and had a decent/aggressive tread on it.

There is a website where you can input your current tire size against your standard size and it tells you the difference between your actual speed and what the speedo will say.

It comes down to how much you want to be able to wheel it. If your just taking it down the mild trails, I think you could sneak by without a lesser tire but if you want it to be able to go through the mud then I think your gonna need to go with the bigger tires due to the tread.

I would look around and see what you can do in tires. I found that that was the most difficult thing to get right.
